Since day one I have chosen to set an example for the industry through high standards for both the quality of work and customer service I provide. I have an awareness of common complaints and challenges, and it's my goal to be an asset to every one of my clients. I expect my best work to be better tomorrow and next year. I don't coast on a minimum standard, I strive for excellence. With me, you're not another name and number. I communicate, and take my time getting things right for each horse. You can expect properly balanced hooves, which are a foundation for health and comfort. You can expect shoes that fit the foot, stay secured for the full cycle, provide support and enhance comfort and performance. Your time is important. Your horses are important. You are important. I respect that and come prepared to give each horse my full attention while I am working on them. I want to offer the highest level of care for you and all my clients. To support my ability to provide excellent service, I expect the same things from you that I expect from myself. Clear communication and consistency. Preparation, punctuality and respect. Safe work habits and environment; safe horses. You invest in your horses. I invest in my ability to improve the health of your horse's hooves, and their comfort and performance. Whether your horses are young, in their prime as competitive athletes, or in their golden years, I provide each individual with thoughtful and valuable care. I enjoy building lasting relationships and appreciate the trust my clients place in me. Together we can improve and extend the quality of life for ourselves and our horses, and make each appointment an enjoyable experience. Enforcing business hours allows me to start every work day fresh and focused. I can maintain quality work from the first horse to the last of the day when I am well rested and prepared for the next day. Night and weekend appointments are not available, except for emergencies. Scheduling reasonable amounts of work in a day helps prevent burn out and allows me to handle emergencies when they arise. If a horse needs sedation to ensure a safe and comfortable appointment for everyone, please discuss this with me and your vet ahead of time. Always disclose any behavioral issues, current or past lameness, and negative farrier experiences before our first appointment so we can determine the best course of action that will be in the horse’s best interest, AND keep all involved safe and unharmed.
